I was thrilled to learn that the Wisconsin Historical Society Press has contracted a professional actress, Claire Slemmer, to render How to Make a Life from the written to the spoken word. When asked to provide pronunciation for non-English words, I was amazed I had included so many Tibetan, Hindi, and Chinese vocabulary in the text. Family father and son Migmar Dorjee and Tenzin Tamdin corrected my best attempts at spoken Tibetan and Claire took it from there. The audio version is now available from sites that market audio books, so enjoy the story while you drive, garden, or knit.
